Nelson Bay Unit bookings

Conditions of use

1.  Members must have attended either 4 meetings or functions per calendar year and and have a current membership.

2. This rule also applies the use of the Unit by descendants of those Sub Branch members that do not meet the criteria of Rule 1.

3. No consecutive bookings will be allowed.

4. Staff members must complete a minimum of 12 months service as an employee of Doyalson Wyee RSL Club Ltd to be eligible to use the Unit.

Booking the Unit

Bookings for the Sub Branch unit in Nelson’s Bay can be done by completing the attached booking form.

Use of the online form will automatically send the form to the sub-Branch for further action.

2025 Calendar

You can either bring the form in and hand it to a committee member or email the form to [email protected].

Preference for bookings will be given to Sub Branch members, followed by Members’ direct children and then Doyalson Wyee RSL Club employees.

Bookings will only be accepted two months in advance. Once the booking has been confirmed you will be notified to arrange for payment and collection of the keys.

Nelson Bay Unit requirements

1.  You need to supply your own linen, towels and would suggest bring some toilet paper.

2. Parking is available, you need to park in the designated area for the unit.

3. If you see a defect within the unit, please inform one of the Sub Branch committee when handing back the keys. If the defect is of a safety concern, e.g. electrical, water etc, you can raise the issue with the reception office and let one of the committee know immediately. The committee member will let the Reception know that the costs of the repairs will be covered by the Sub Branch.

4. Keys are to be returned to the Sub Branch on completion of your stay and not handed to anyone else unless prior arrangement and approval has been given by the Sub Branch Committee.

5. If you see that an item runs out, e.g.  detergent, please replace it.

6. A cleaning checklist will be supplied when you pick up the keys. The cleaning checklist must be completed prior to leaving the unit and returned with the keys. You are responsible for cleaning the unit prior to your departure. If the unit is not cleaned or the person following you raises an issue with the state of the cleanliness, you may find that you will be banned from using the unit in the future.

7. Can you please vacant the unit by 10 am on the day of your departure to allow for the next member to arrive in a timely manner.
