Milestone Moments of the Doyalson-Wyee RSL sub-Branch

July 1958 – Mr Keith Kelly and Mr Jack Haigh canvassed the area to muster the required number to form an RSL sub-Branch within Doyalson.

The Women's Auxiliary came into being very soon after the sub-Branch and was represented at the charter presentation ceremony.

22 November 1958 – The Doyalson-Wyee sub-Branch's Charter of Membership awarded.

22 November 1958 – Mr Jack Haigh elected first President.

13 February 1959 – Charter presented by District Council at Wyee Hall.

25 April 1960 – First ANZAC Day march held.

August 1963 – Old Wyong Bowling Club purchased and relocated.

1975 – 25-pounder gun obtained.

22 April 2005 – Welfare bus purchased.

25 March 2015 – New war memorial unveiled.

11 April 2025 – 25-pounder gun fully restored and replaced at memorial.
